The first part of the training module concerns the constitutional and legislative provisions for the construction and regulation of various aspects of national identity in several countries from the regions encompassed by this project. Studying these legislative materials provides a valuable basis for understanding the legislative framework in the countries concerned (Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Serbiaand Spain), as well as for undertaking a comparative analysis with other national systems from the “Old Europe”.
Briefs on a selection of constitutional and legislative provisions from the countries mentioned are presented below – these provisions can be accessed in extenso in the project database.

The main part of the training materials under this Module has been developed under the Erasmus+ Project ReNewEurope: “Rediscovering New Europe” On-Wheels Summer School for Balkan/Central and Eastern European trans-border history and politics (2020-1-PL01-KA203-081999).
The current final version has been updated by all partners to reflect the changing environment as well as to include the perspective of Spain in the analysis.
